Shipping & Delivery Policy
At E-COSMOS (ecosmos.co.in), we are committed to delivering your orders efficiently and reliably. This policy outlines our shipping procedures, delivery timelines, and related information. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Order Processing & Dispatch
- Processing Time: All orders placed on E-COSMOS are typically processed and dispatched from our warehouse within 1 to 3 business days (Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays).
- Order Confirmation: Once your order is successfully placed, you will receive an order confirmation email with your order details.
- Dispatch Notification: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email and/or SMS containing your tracking number and a link to track your shipment.
2. Shipping Methods & Carriers
- We partner with reputable and reliable courier services across India to ensure safe and timely delivery of your products. Our primary logistics partners include Delhivery, Blue Dart, Xpressbees, India Post, etc.
- We offer Standard Shipping for all orders. Express shipping options may be introduced in the future based on demand and feasibility.
3. Shipping Costs
- Standard Shipping: Shipping charges are calculated based on the order value, weight, and delivery location. The exact shipping cost for your order will be displayed during the checkout process before you make the payment.
- Free Shipping: We may offer free standard shipping on orders exceeding a certain value. Any such offers will be clearly communicated on our website banners or product pages.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) Charges: For Cash on Delivery orders, a nominal COD handling fee of ₹50 may be applicable. This fee will be clearly displayed during checkout.
4. Estimated Delivery Times
- Delivery times vary depending on your location and the courier partner. Below are the estimated delivery timelines (in business days) after dispatch:
- Metropolitan Cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad): 3-7 business days
- Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities: 5-10 business days
- Remote Locations & North-East India: 7-15 business days
- Please Note:
- These are estimated delivery times. Actual delivery may vary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, public holidays, logistical delays, or other factors beyond our control.
- Business days exclude Sundays and public holidays.
- For bulky items, delivery times might be slightly longer.
5. Order Tracking
- Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email and/or SMS.
- You can track the live status of your order by visiting the courier partner's website and entering your tracking number, or by clicking on the tracking link provided in your shipping confirmation.
- Tracking information typically becomes active within 24-48 hours after dispatch.
6. Delivery Issues & Redressal
- Damaged or Tampered Packaging: If you receive a package that appears to be damaged or tampered with, do not accept the delivery. Please take photographs of the package and immediately contact our Customer Care team at support@ecosmos.co.in with your order ID and the supporting images.
- Product Damage/Defect upon Delivery: If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, please refer to our Refund & Return Policy and contact us within 48 hours of delivery with necessary evidence (unboxing video and photographs).
- Non-Delivery: In the rare event that your order does not reach you within the estimated delivery time, please contact our Customer Care team. We will investigate the issue with the courier partner and provide you with an update.
- Multiple Attempts: Our courier partners usually make multiple attempts (typically 2-3) to deliver your order. If the delivery is unsuccessful after these attempts, the package may be returned to us. In such cases, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment, and re-shipping charges may apply.
- Incorrect/Incomplete Address: It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate and complete delivery address details. E-COSMOS will not be responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, re-shipping charges will be borne by the customer.
7. Cash on Delivery (COD) Guidelines
- COD orders require payment in cash to the delivery executive at the time of delivery.
- Please ensure you have the exact change available.
- Some locations may not be eligible for COD. This will be indicated during the checkout process.
- COD orders are subject to an additional handling fee, as mentioned in Section 3.
8. International Shipping
- Currently, E-COSMOS only ships within India. We do not offer international shipping. We hope to expand our delivery services to international locations in the future.
9. Amendments
E-COSMOS reserves the right to modify or update this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time without prior notice. The updated policy will be effective upon posting on the ecosmos.co.in website. Please review this page periodically for any changes.
